Fantasia X by Mudarra for Guitar (PDF)

Fantasía que contrahazee la harpa en la manera de Ludovico by Alonso Mudarra (c.1510–1580). PDF sheet music for classical guitar. Also known as Fantasia X or No. 10 from Tres libros de música en cifra para vihuela (1546). This edition of Fantasia X (No.10) by Alonso Mudarra (c.1510–1580) is an arrangement of the original Spanish vihuela work. For this arrangement I have chosen to keep as closely as possible to the original vihuela tablature which utilizes open strings and straightforward fret positions. The harp-like fingering by many arrangers with cross-strings everywhere, although very beautiful, are not consistent throughout. The vihuela tablature utilizes open strings for the melodic passages and sustained harp-like fingering for chords. My edition is almost identical to David Russell's fingering in the video below (purely coincidental, I found it after making the music).
