20 Favorite Exercises for Classical Guitar by Bradford Werner - For Beginner to Intermediate Classical Guitarists. Great for crossover students or those looking for a quick boost. Includes Notation with TAB, Video Lessons, Fingerings, Tips. 27 Pages, PDF Download.

20 Favorite Exercises for Classical Guitar was designed for students. It is particularly good for crossover students looking to boost their classical technique fast but orderly. The book progressive so each exercise builds on the previous one. You practice by creating a model technique for the first few exercises and maintain that model as you progress to the next one. Students are often held back by the difficult reading that patterned exercises create, the inclusion of tablature will help make this book accessible to all.

Please Note: Also see my full comprehensive 122 page technique book that includes most of these exercises but with notation-only: Classical Guitar Technique – Essential Exercises, Scales, & Arpeggios

Need some etudes to pair with this book? Try out my Ten Classical Etudes, Gr.4-7, videos lessons. Includes both notation-only edition and a TAB edition.

Brilliant!

Been trying unsuccessfully to learn to play the guitar for 20 years, until now. So easy and enjoyable. It all makes sense now! I love this method. Highly recommended 👌

20 Exercises

I purchased the edition after watching your video on scales. I had just been running through 2 octave scales and not really seeing any improvement in my practicing . I am now focusing on the scale exercises in the addition and I believe I am slowly seeing improvement in the exercises as well as my playing .

While my focus is scales at the moment, the table of contents elaborates what could be a solid daily practice routine.

I am enjoying the edition immensely, and highly recommend it.

Note - just as a point of reference I am somewhere around early intermediate to intermediate.

Thanks for leaving the feedback!

Great Book for Mastering Scales

Brad is an excellent teacher. This book pairs with videos for each scale! Perfect for a beginner like me and I can see how even an advanced player would benefit from how this book is organized.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

Wish I knew this earlier

The course starts covering all the basics and continues to introduce more complex technique in a logical way, each issue is discussed clearly in an uncomplicated way. It assumes nothing and does not skip the detail so often found in other online courses. If you haven't got a teacher or even if you have, you will benefit from this course.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback!
