Comes with both a notation edition with left hand fingering and a separate tab edition in the same pdf. The level is intermediate (Grade 4). This is a PDF download.
José (Joseph) Ferrer (1835–1916) was a Spanish guitarist and composer. This is a simple little piece but not without Spanish charm. It's a good playing level firmly in the early to mid-intermediate level. Beginners can take out the thirds to make it easy but intermediates should be able to play them with a bit of practice.

It was nice to be able to listen to the piece before purchasing. I thought it would be so hard, but it turned out to be perfect for my level. I’m working on the last piece of the grade 4 book. I already purchased grade 5, but I’m so glad I got this piece before going onto grade 5. It gives me so much joy!
I just started working on this a week ago, after watching Brad's video lesson. It really is an entertaining piece to learn. As he said in the video, it's firmly in the intermediate range. It has some technique challenges sprinkled in, which Brad covers in the video. I like that I can begin working on the musicality fairly early because the challenges are there but aren't way beyond my current ability. Check out Matthew McAllister's video on Brad's site as well--hear another interpretation of the same piece. Listening to multiple guitarists helps me in learning to express the musicality of a piece. Thanks, Brad.
Hi Bradford, thank you for this very nice piece of guitar music. It's not too difficult for my level. So I played it already, only yet a bit more slowly 😉
