Book includes both a notation-only edition and a separate TAB edition. The arrangements favour ease and playability. Each song contains two arrangements of the song that can be played together as one continuous work or played separately. The first time through is easy level with melody, bass, and simple chord shapes. The second time has more active accompaniment suitable for intermediates. About the Level: Some might consider ‘easy’ to be early-intermediate (Grade 1-3). The easy arrangements are intended for students who have completed a beginner method book series such as my Method Book Vol.1 & 2.

Another fine collection! I love how Bradford has made so much fine music accessible to the non-virtuoso. Some 50 years ago I was a music major (piano) aspiring to virtuosity which never came. Now in retirement I treasure the ability to pick up the guitar and simply play beautiful music for its own sake.

Two years ago, after almost 50 years, I started studying the guitar again.
In the 1970s, I took guitar lessons from a teacher in The Hague, the Netherlands. He used the guitar method books by Julio Sagreras. I stopped halfway through Book 2. Fifty years later, I decided to start all over again from scratch.
Your teaching method has been a great help to me in this process. I have now reached page 35 of Classical Guitar Method – Volume 2, and I also find the arrangements that accompany the books very useful.
Thanks to all the material I have found on your website, I have regained my enthusiasm and enjoyment for continuing my guitar studies. I just took a quick look through the book of folk songs I recently received, and I can hardly wait to start working on it.

Recently ordered and received this volume, and have printed off several pieces to work on. I appreciate having the tabs since I don't play much classical style and haven't taught myself to read notation yet. I enjoy learning the Irish and Scottish folk songs as that's my heritage, but it's great to have a couple of Canadian songs, too. If you ever put together a book of Canadian folk songs I'd definitely buy that one!
