Popularly known as a Lute Suite but possibly written for the lute-harpsichord (lautenwerk), an uncommon Baroque keyboard instrument. In terms of the manuscript, performance difficulty, key signature, and suitability, this is more similar to a keyboard composition. I bought your BWV 996 guitar arrangement and I’m really enjoying it. It’s easy to follow along while listening and watching your videos—your explanations are clear, focused, and straight to the point, without spending time on basics that experienced players already know. On top of that, your tone and execution are beautiful. The way you shape each phrase makes the music sound genuinely divine. Thank you for such a high-quality arrangement and teaching.
Thanks so much for the review, glad you enjoyed it!
