While I have NOT yet had the opportunity to fully digest "THIS IS CLASSICAL GUITAR METHOD BOOK NO. 2," I DO HAVE IT AND EXPECT TO DIGEST IT SHORTLY!

The course starts covering all the basics and continues to introduce more complex technique in a logical way, each issue is discussed clearly in an uncomplicated way. It assumes nothing and does not skip the detail so often found in other online courses. If you haven't got a teacher or even if you have, you will benefit from this course.

After finishing method books 1 & 2. Then playing the late beginner repertoire sheet music ( plus using Technique book for beginner routine ). Then I took grade 1 repertoire. Book is well written and easy to understand along with the videos. Going at my on pace and playing slowly until I have it correct. I highly recommend Bradford Werner books to everyone. I have learned more about playing classical music from Bradford Werner method than a private teacher. I am at his level 3 repertoire book. As long as you pay close attention to what Bradford Werner saying you will definitely reap the wonderful rewards of learning Classical guitar.

Hi! I'm from Korea, and I've been learning classical guitar in Seoul for just over 5 months now.
I'm doing a mix of two things: taking lessons from a teacher at a local academy, and following Bradford’s course at the same time. Having a tutor who can immediately point out and fix mistakes, plus working through Bradford’s clear and well-designed curriculum — it’s a great combo! I’m really starting to enjoy the process of learning guitar more and more.
I’ve finished Method V1, and I’m practicing regularly with the Technique book. Now I’m moving on to Repertoire G1 & G2 — exciting! I plan to keep learning step by step with Bradford’s program and just enjoy the journey.
Also, I’m hoping to travel to western Canada this fall — can’t wait!
Big thanks to Bradford for creating such a great program.

I m a complete beginner in Classical Guitar. I initially watched Bradford's videos and downloaded the method books, whilst following a couple of other Classical Guitar starter books. After a couple of months I realised my technique was not developing well. So I downloaded the technique book and started practicing them. Though I struggled initially, even the simpler LH and RH exercise have helped a lot. One thing I realised after a month or so, is that I did not need to work through the book in order. Rather, I could try the simpler technique exercises from various sections, instead of feeling I had to be perfect at, say LH Alignment, before moving on. So I tried some simple slides and arpegion exercises whilst building up my LH and RH technique. This has given me confidence I am progressing. Overall I have found Bradford's videos and workbooks inspirational and the best resource on the internet for Classical Guitar advice. The book really complements his videos, or rather the videos, really complement the Techniques book. As a beginner I have found these to be really helpful. Thank you Bradford.

I played guitar for a year when i was a teenager. Now that i'm in my 30's, i wanted to pick it up again. I always loved finger picking when i was young so i decided to pursue classical guitar. I stumbled across Werner's site and youtube channel and am blown away by the quality of lessons. I have had no issues going from lesson to lesson with no realistic guitar experience (I hadn't touched one in 15 years!). The progression is logical and flows effortlessly from lesson to lesson. Once I make it through this lesson book, i will not hesitate to pick up volume 2! Thank you Werner!

You are such a good teacher. Thank you for this tutorial.

Really enjoying Bradford's books and videos. Great source for self-learning. With the help of his website I have progressed from complete beginner to probably about level 2 / 3. Only play for my own enjoyment, too old to have time left to become an expert.

Great playing on this and fantastic explanation of the music. I really learnt a lot from watching this video. Amazing teaching thank you.

Beautiful, simple arrangement

Summer Christmas is on its way to the Antipodes, and your truly beautiful rendition of Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel took me right back to many happy winter Christmases in the North. A simple, but absolutely gorgeous piece (along with the others in this great edition) to play on the big day !!!

Easy to sight read and the arrangements sound like you are more accomplished.

This is such a pretty piece. I love playing it!

I just completed method book two and am beginning to work on the first grade book. I think Bradford Werner's method of teaching is extremely effective. I can actually read the music! I can often pick up a piece of music that I want to play and play at least the melody line. Bradford Werner's advice about getting confident with one piece, getting musical with it, is really important. I had been ignoring this and then discovered I had a whole collection of pieces none of which I could play well. I did damage control! People are commenting on my legato and saying how much I have improved. I tell them, that's Bradford Werner! Thank you for your lessons and videos! I am loving this!

What delightful little pieces these are. The music is very soothing, beautifully played and I hope to learn these pieces one day.
